Dyckia marnier is a very slow growing succulent with stemless rosettes of 25 cm in diameter and triangular-shaped long, gray-green leaves which are covered with silvery white scale-like hairs, so that the plant looks almost completely white. In summer a flower spike of 90 cm with orange-yellow tubular flowers occurs near the tip.
