This member of the Araceae family was described by William Bertram Turrill in 1938. It is found on Crete and in south-western Turkey, growing in a well drained soil with little to some water and little to some sun.
The bulbs can grow to four centimetres, the leaves reaches five centimetres. The flowers are crème coloured and might be covered in reddish-brown spots. They will occur in autumn.
