This member of the Portulacaceae family was given this name by Roger Charles Carolin after Mark A. Herschkovitz in 1990. It is found on the Isla Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico. It needs a very well drained soil, little water and lots of sun. The flowers are pale to bright pink, and the plant can be reproduced both by seeds and cuttings. |
