This member of the Euphorbiaceae family was - -like so many others -given this name by Nicholas Edward Brown in 1915. It is found in Mozambique, Swaziland; South Africa, growing in sand or an other well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The swollen roots can grow to twelve centimetres in diameter, the whole plant up to 30 centimetres of height. The flowers are greenish yellow. |
